Kansas Bison were the source of life across the plains tribes. Both being nomadic, Lakota people depended and moved according to the Bisons whereabout. I often recall my time in Northern Colorado around the Bulls that the university were breeding. They were powerful and massive, but calm and peaceful. I felt so drawn to them and am grateful for the memory.
