Prominent leader of Oglala Lakota, I painted him with his bonnet lowered and at moonlight as if he was a spirit roaming the prairie at night.  Member of the Kiyuksa band he was part of the Battle of Massacre Canyon against the Pawnee in 1873 in Nebraska.  One of the Last major battles in tribal warfare before assimilation.
